Founder
Angela Oliver, LPC-S
Angela has served families since the age of 15 in a variety of roles, and is now a licensed professional counselor. In these roles she has seen the need for families to attain their full potential, by focusing on improving mental health. Because mental health improvements have profound effects on all aspects of life, Angela has launched the C.A.M.P. Oliver’s C.A.M.P. is a comprehensive counseling and mentoring program for all.
“I am passionate about partnering with those that are ready to choose to do something different to get them where they desire to be in life.”
Thank you for stopping by.
Meet Angela
Angela B. Oliver is a native of Atwater, CA, and was raised in the Oklahoma City metro. After graduating from Midwest City High School, Angela attended and received her B.S degree in Criminal Justice, with honors, at Langston University. She later furthered her education and obtained a M.S degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, from Langston University as well. But that was not enough for her. Seeing a need to give back to the field that had equipped her, partnered with her desire to be more marketable, Angela went further in her pursuits to receive a licensure from The OK State Board of Behavioral Health as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Angela has dedicated her life to counseling, mentoring, and equipping young people to be their best selves. Angela has worked hard in both degree fields and prides herself on being a hard worker and selfless.
To date she is currently employed with OKCPS as a school guidance counselor, which falls in line with her passion. “I get to empower students, in the environment they spend the majority of their day; the place that will one day impact them the most. How cool is that? It is my desire that when they come in contact with me, they are reminded of their worth and that God has given them everything they need to make it in this life, despite life’s ups and downs.”
Outside of counseling and mentoring in schools, Angela serves as the local and district youth leader at her home church. Furthermore, Angela’s most prized title is as “mom” to her daughter Ariyah Brielle Oliver.
